Program Overview

The 5G Leadership Skills curriculum consists of 19 workshops that address the top soft and interpersonal skills needed in the workforce today.

This research-based, empirically driven program focuses on three leadership skill pillars: The Collaborative Environment, Building Connections and Purposeful Leadership. All competencies weave together to create the ultimate Stakeholder Engagement.

Individuals who complete the 19 workshops are recognized with a 5G Leadership Skills Mastery Certification which comes with an open digital badge which may be used on social media websites and email; the badge image can also be used on business cards and printed materials.

The Workshop

Each workshop is approximately 40 minutes (30 minutes facilitation time, followed by 10 minutes of facilitator and online group question and answers on the presented topic.

Online Delivery

Online-Live Session and On-Demand.

The 5G Leadership program is delivered online in a blended format of on-demand course content, live sessions either one on one or in a small online group with additional interaction within the 5G Leadership online community.

Program Participants are also paired with a program coach that will do a one-on-one introduction to the program and be a resource though the participants participation within the program. This delivery and engagement method allow for program participants to complete the full program at their own pace.

Understanding each generation and dimensional diversity provides insights into why individuals think the way they do, which is imperative for collaborative engagement and successful interpersonal interactions. Individuals gain a fundamental understanding of each generation and the concept of dimensional diversity.

Having a "personal brand"; is important for professional success, as a leader; it is the unique story; which sets individuals apart. It makes others mentally aware of one's unique strengths and establishes personal connections. It is an important part of eliminating stereotypes. Providing tools to increase self-awareness and build a powerhouse; personal brand will give participants a competitive advantage, especially in leadership positions.

In our generationally and dimensionally diverse workplaces, it is critical to understand that diversity is not synonymous with inclusion. This competency furthers the idea of eradicating one's stereotypes, biases and "isms"; in order to learn about others so that capitalizing and leveraging their strengths becomes a natural part of including them in the work process. Steps for individual and organizational diversity and inclusion are explored, as are practical ways for leaders to include their diverse workforce members

Program Summary: The ability to understand and fit into an organization's culture has a direct impact on individual credibility, personal and career satisfaction, as well as effectiveness and success. Employers seek to hire, based on shared values and cultural beliefs, those who are a "good fit"; as they are more likely to remain with the organization and have superior job performance. This competency demonstrates the importance of employee fit with an organization's culture and its relevance for career sustainability and advancement.

Skillful educator entrusted with managing the execution of end-to-end program design and new program launch initiatives. Detail-oriented, analytical, and resourceful Thought Leader with a reputation for strategizing and driving the development of learning assessment tools and programs and optimizing learning outcomes, program development quality, and market impact.

Inspirational motivator respected for building trusting professional relationships, engendering group consensus, and focusing on program and leadership excellence.

Dr. James Getman a Doctor of Management in Organizational Leadership and former Naval Officer, private sector CEO and a current adjunct professor having taught Communications for Empowerment, Human Resource Management, Communication and Strategic Management, Public Speaker and Leadership & Management. In additional to the adjunct opportunities Dr. Getman is a corporate leadership development consultant which is a disabled, veteran-owned small business.
