Today’s workforce is complex, made up of an unprecedented 5 generations and has many layers of dimensional diversity. While this presents challenges, it also creates opportunities.
In our generationally and dimensionally diverse workplaces, it is critical to understand that diversity is not synonymous with inclusion.
This competency furthers the idea of eradicating one’s stereotypes, biases and “ism’s” in order to learn about others so that capitalizing and leveraging their strengths becomes a natural part of including them in the work process.
Steps for individual and organizational diversity and inclusion are explored, as are practical ways for leaders to include their diverse workforce members
