Using content from “Everyone Communicates Few Connect by John Maxwell, the facilitator will lead a discussion on the communication skill needed to connect with others. This mastermind group will transform healthcare professionals with the skills needed to increase engagement, teamwork and productivity. The participants will identify and understand the 5 key practices and 5 key principles needed to communicate effectively. They will be able to apply the key actions needed to increase their ability to lead others through improved communication. The participants will strategize with the group by role playing and talking through difficult conversations with the group for discussion. The participants will complete an action plan with 1-3 actionable items with their commitment level for implementation over the next 3 months to continue their leadership development journey.
