Gregory L. Blakey

Gregory received his baccalaureate degree from the University of Oklahoma and his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He completed an internship in internal medicine, a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology, and advanced training in molecular pathology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Subsequently, he completed a fellowship in molecular genetic pathology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Blakey is an assistant professor in the Department of Pathology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where he directs the OU Medical Center Microbiology Laboratory and the OU Cancer Institute Biospecimen Core. Dr. Blakey is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Pathology and the American Board of Medical Genetics in Molecular Genetic Pathology.
