The Certificate of MACRA-MIPS Cost Proficiency (CMCP) course helps the learner understand and participate in the Cost performance category of MIPS. The Cost portion of MIPS replaces the Value-Based Modifier/VBM program. Although it is zero-weighted for 2017, Cost will make up an increasing share of an eligible clinician's MIPS score.
