CE for Specialty: Athletic Training 50 hours of continuing education must be completed by time for renewal. Licenses expired every two years.
CE for Specialty: Audiology/SLP CE: 12 Contact Hours must be completed annually.
CE for Specialty: Dietetics/Nutrition 30 hours of continuing education must be completed every 2 years.
CE for Specialty: Emergency Medical Services There are no continuing education requirements.
CE for Specialty: Laboratory Technology There are no Continuing Education requirements.
CE for Specialty: Massage Therapy There are no Continuing Education requirements.
CE for Specialty: Medicine and Surgery CE: 60 hours every 3 years in any combination of Category I, AOA, Category II, PRA AMA, or current certificate equivalent from any specialty board approved by the ABMS, with exceptions as noted by the state board of medicine. Wyoming licenses must be renewed every three years.
CE for Specialty: Occupational Therapy CE Requirements: Wyoming Occupational Therapists (OT) and Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) are required to complete 16 hours of continuing education every year.
CE for Specialty: Pharmacy 12 hours of continuing education must be completed annually. Home study must be approved by ACPE. ACPE-approved courses for Pharmacy Technicians end in the letter “T”. ACPE-approved courses pharmacists (only) end in the letter “P”.  Courses ending in the letter “P” cannot be used to meet pharmacy technician CE requirements.
CE for Specialty: Pharmacy Technician 6 hours of continuing education must be completed annually. Home study must be approved by ACPE
CE for Specialty: Physical Therapy CE Requirements: Wyoming PT and PTA licenses expire on October 1st of odd or even years depending on when they were licensed. 20 contact hours required biennially for PTs and PTAs. At least fifteen hours must be clinically related, five of which may be CPR.
CE for Specialty: Psychology 30 hours of continuing education must be completed every renewal period. Wyoming licenses must be renewed biennially. Both licenses and certificates expire June 30th of every 2 years. The year of expiration is dependent on the initial licensure date.
CE for Specialty: Radiology Technology CE per license: General License: 24 hours of CE or your current ARRT, NMTCB or CBRPA card Restricted License: 6 hours of CE Renewal Periods: General License: Every two years Restricted License: Annually
CE for Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Eight (8) hours of continuing education are due annually on October 1st. A maximum of 4 hours may be applied to this requirement for teaching, with credit being awarded on a two-to-one ratio. For a one (1) hour presentation, the presenter will be awarded two (2) hours of continuing education credits.
CE for Specialty: Social Work Renewal: forty-five (45) hours of social work continuing education must be completed every two years from the licensee’s birthday. All contact hours can be home study.
